Review: Workplace By Facebook

At Envano, most of us are completely comfortable having our personal Facebook profiles open while we work throughout the day. In fact, as part of our company’s culture, it’s encouraged! We believe in staying connected and have been using private Facebook groups for years in order to do so. We also utilize Facebook groups with our clients, to quickly and easily share industry related content, pose questions, and streamline general communication.

We believe in Facebook so much, that when the communication giant came out with a new platform,
Workplace by Facebook (formerly known as ‘Facebook at Work’), we wanted to be one of the first to get in on the action. Now that it’s been rolled out for any company to use, you may find yourself wondering if it’s a good idea to implement within your own organization. Here are four compelling arguments for using Workplace by Facebook.

User Experience

The user experience with Workplace by Facebook mimics the same Facebook we’ve all been using for years. This makes it super intuitive to use. The fear of having to learn yet another platform is basically eliminated.

More Collaborative Communication

Skip the email to your coworker that is bound to get lost in their black hole of an inbox. Instantly chat or send a message via Work Chat to an individual or an entire team. You can also upload files and photos using the platform.

Containment

Workplace by Facebook is only for individuals inside your organization. This setup provides secure and easy communication by containing content and messages to your company alone.

✓ Facebook Is Legit

Facebook At Work helps legitimize and reinforce the idea that Facebook is an effective business tool — not just for sharing cat videos.
