Does the thought of using a variety of advertising platforms to highlight your product or service make sense to you, but having multiple websites scares you? Don’t be afraid!
There is no single cookie-cutter version of your website that will speak to all people. This is especially true in larger companies, where many industries and products are offered. It’s near impossible to attain engagement among each individual audience these industries and products are intended for.
What is a microsite?
Bill Zoelle, Chief Creative Officer at Envano, shares, “The larger a single site is, the less agile it becomes. Since one site does not serve all, microsites are a great way to showcase different initiatives, campaigns, or separate industries or products.” Microsites can be housed both within a site’s domain, as a subdomain or subdirectory, or they can live externally, as a totally separate domain.
