Becoming Part of the Envano Team

When I first discovered Envano, I was a college student at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay searching the internet for potential job opportunities in preparation for my upcoming graduation. I was about to complete my degree in communication, which I felt could lead to a variety of career paths. I was excited about being open to a range of possibilities, but this also made hunting for jobs somewhat overwhelming. At this point, I was looking for an organization that I could be excited to work for and would worry about my exact role later. What I found at Envano was exactly that, and it has been far better than I could have imagined.

From the Very Beginning

Throughout the interview process, I marveled at the way in which Envano used personality tests and various interview formats to truly get to know me. Without much industry work experience, I had nothing to compare this to, but I still knew it was different from the norm. However, as I later learned, much of what Envano does is different from the norm.

Becoming Part of the Team

I was hired as a part-time intern while I was still in school. I was immediately impressed (and a little intimidated) by my peers. Our team is full of well-experienced professionals with a wealth of expertise, and I was just starting to dip my toes into the industry. However, one of the best things about the Envano team is that it is also full of people who care about more than just their work, but about people too. From my very first day, I found the team to be extremely welcoming and genuinely supportive. Everyone took an interest in getting to know me and finding out what I needed from them to succeed. This makes the transition from full-time student to full-time professional a whole lot easier.

More Than Just Work

In my time as an intern, I have learned many things. Chief among them is that Envano is not your typical digital marketing firm. Far from it. But I am thankful for that. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to begin my career at an organization where fun, laughter and even dogs (yes, we have office dogs) accompany a day of hard work. Here, you are more than just your output, but a valued member of an even more valuable team.
