What is the Best Christmas Ever?

The season of Christmas is favored by so many — what’s not to love? There’s cookies, movies, decorations, music and, of course, ugly sweaters. While the season of giving is a joyous time of the year for most, it can also be hard for many families. Best Christmas Ever (BCE) serves families who have fallen through tough times through no fault of their own. BCE works within the community by joining with local leaders and businesses to provide a group of nominated families with the Best Christmas Ever! 

This year, Envano took on the role to help to co-captain a team with Cornerstone Business Services to bring this well-deserving family a unique holiday surprise.

Our Family

We decided to bless a local family of three in the Green Bay area. The young mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Their daughter battled several health conditions and also experienced bullying most of her life. Additionally, the family’s single vehicle broke down regularly, so the husband rode his bike to work. Despite these unimaginable circumstances, they have kept a positive outlook and continue to share kindness with everyone they meet.  

Gathering the Gifts

In between emails and meetings, we worked together to determine everything we needed to do to surprise our family with gifts and experiences they could only dream of. Through the efforts of our team, Cornerstone, clients, friends and family, we exceeded our goal of $10,000 by 200%. We raised over $20,000 to help our family with medical expenses, experiences and meaningful gifts.

The Best Christmas Ever Reveal

The night’s set. Everything was ready to give this family the Best Christmas Ever. The faces of the family said it all when we all arrived on their driveway bearing loads of gifts. Heather, the nominator, and Scott Bushkie announced why we were at their house and the purpose of Best Christmas Ever. Gift after gift, the evening was full of smiles and tears. The family was overwhelmed by the number of people who came together to create an impact on their lives and cover some of their biggest burdens.

The mother received front row, center stage tickets to an upcoming Kane Brown concert, a PlayStation 5 for the father and everything Frozen for their daughter. We also gifted the family two vehicles that will provide reliable transportation. Lastly, we gifted them the vacation of a lifetime with a VIP, five-day trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World! 

We’re beyond grateful for the opportunity to assist Cornerstone Business Services in bringing this family the Best Christmas Ever. We wish to thank Cornerstone, our nominator, Heather, Justin Spettel of CORE Insurance and Risk Advisors (our BCE representative) and all of our clients, family and friends who donated and made this an amazing Christmas for a very deserving family.
