A Day in the Lives of Office Dogs

By Lillemor and Lola, Chief Happiness Officers

Come take a walk in the paws of our chief happiness officers, aka our office dogs, Lille and Lola. They are our furry friends in charge of keeping everyone around the office pawsitive. You can usually find them taking a nap in a lap, but what about when they are up and pawspering? Find out what they have to bark about.

office dogsQ&A with our Office Dogs

Q: What do you think is the most important part of being a chief happiness officer?

Lille: I take my job very seriously, but I would have to say my most important role is keeping everyone happy and entertained. I usually follow around the people who have food. They think we are close, but really I am just using them for treats.

Q: What do you do for most of the day?

Lola: Usually I start off with making people throw a tennis ball for me. It gives me a jump start on my week. After that, I try to avoid eye contact with people and go about my day. You can usually find me lying on David’s desk, avoiding human interaction. Lille is more of a diva than I am. She loves the attention. I’m more of a paws-off dog.

Q: Do you think you are the most important member of the Envano team?

Lille: Oh, fur sure. I have a lot to off-fur. I keep people motivated and give them a lending paw.

Q: What do you like about working with Envano?

Lola: I can pretty much do whate-fur I want.

Q: Do you feel that people ignore you?

Lille: No, but I wish I was always the center of attention. Sometimes I sit on people’s laps and their fingers move really fast on a board, and then the attention isn’t on me. It’s ruff. They also stare at a screen for a long time. What is more important than me? I just don’t get it.

Q: What do you think of the people who visit the office?

Lola: Generally, we love the people who visit us. However, we’re still unsure about the man dressed in all the same color who comes into the office. This guy seems suspect. He keeps coming in with boxes, and I try to warn people, but they just take the boxes and thank him.

Q: What do you love about being a chief happiness officer?

Lola: I get treats sometimes.

Lille: I think my role at Envano is the best job I’ve ever had. It is the only job I’ve ever had, but still. I chit-chat around the water bowl, and get unlimited treats and scratches. But I think the very best part is my teammates. They are doggone great.
