30 Days at Envano, 5 Reasons Why I Love My Job

“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Before starting my career at Envano, I never thought Monday mornings would excite me as much as Friday evenings. But, I was clearly wrong. Whether I’m writing the next company blog post or hiding memes around the office, working at Envano has proved that starting your career with a company that puts their employees first is a rewarding (and fun) experience. Here’s why:

1. My coworkers rock (and are quite goofy).

Envano wouldn’t be where it’s at today without its people. My coworkers are passionate about what they do and know how to work together to create killer solutions. But, they also know how to have fun while doing it. Whether it’s blurting out a dad joke during an internal meeting or deciding where to go for lunch at 9 a.m., this quirky team knows how to be productive and have fun simultaneously.

2. Micromanagement is nonexistent.

At Envano, we function as a flat organization (something I had no idea existed until I started here). In short, a flat organization means there is no hierarchy between management and staff-level employees. Employees are supervised less and are encouraged to be involved in decision-making processes. That’s why Envano is the perfect fit for me (because management isn’t over my shoulder watching my every move).

3. Two of my coworkers are dogs.

As chief happiness officers, Lola and Lillemor know how to brighten up our office. Whether they’re busy wagging their tails or are filling up their calendars with lap naps, these furry sweethearts know how to win the hearts of their coworkers. That’s why having dog coworkers couldn’t get any more exciting (unless we had an office cat, of course).

4. Each day is different.

I’ve never been one to like the day-to-day repetitiveness that comes with having a job. But at Envano, I don’t have to worry about being bored (ever). Whether we’re all working to meet a deadline or kicking off a new project, every day is unique.

5. The opportunities are endless.

No matter what I’m working on, I’m encouraged to learn. From earning new certifications to being trained on the latest programs and concepts, the learning opportunities are infinite at Envano. Want to learn how to code? No problem. Want to start dabbling in paid advertisement? Just ask.

My first thirty days at Envano have been nothing but a great mix of learning, collaboration and laughter. I am thrilled to be on this team and can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me.
